It’s been far too long since a news update, and there are numerous exciting events and employee achievements that deserve the time it takes to update this news section; stay tuned for further stories over the coming months!

In July of 2018, Ashland worked with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) to provide Ashland’s Elevator Emergency Education (EEE) Course to first responders to the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, Egypt. Moreover, Ashland also repaired and adjusted the Embassy’s elevators, and performed a system diagnosis for an estimate of additional repairs.

Ashland wishes to extend a warm “thanks” to OBO and the staff at the Embassy. Martin Munroe and Chris Fitts, Ashland’s lead instructors for the project, found all incredibly welcoming, helpful, and enthusiastic about elevator safety and discourse with elevator mechanics. We were, in short, humbled by the hospitality and collegiality.
